Computer consists of 2 basic building blocks called Hardware And Software
Hardware -
All the physical parts of the computer which can be felt are Hardware Components.
Example- Motherboard,Hard disk,Socket,Ram etc...
Software-
Software is a set of programs containing sets of instructions to perform the tasks.
There are 2 types of Software
1-System Software-
it works as an interface between Computers and peripherals and optimize the utilization of resources. it works as a mediator between user and computer.It convert all language in to machine language and than again change it to human language....
Example- Windows xp,vista ,Win 7 ,Linux etc...
2-Application Software-
This is a set of programs developed to perform a specific task.
Example- Ms word,Win media player etc
